Ken Start, author of A Prescription For Addiction, will share his story of addiction that began after an automobile accident. In addition to his experiences, which include manipulating doctors, he’ll cover how to identify the signs of addiction and how to help. Ken is in recovery and has accomplished a lot in his life. He is ambitious about educating and informing others about just how easy it is to become an addict and when you have the will, how you can get to recovery. His inspiring book is available locally at The Bookman in Grand Haven as well as at Amazon.com.

Please consider bringing women’s hygiene and healthcare products (think tampons and toilet paper) to our February and March meetings. There is an ongoing need for these products and we will be handing any donations over to the local Women’s Life group, who will add them to what they collect during their upcoming drive. All donations will be given to our local shelters.
