Todd Johnson and Chris Reynolds will introduce “Lake Michigan Lights,” the first in a series of interactive DVDs focusing on lighthouses around Lake Michigan. The DVD has an interactive menu screen where the user can access original video, photography, brief historical facts and other info on each lighthouse. They will donate $3 from the sale of each disk to the Grand Haven Lighthouse Conservancy to help fund the restoration of the pier lights.

The Spring Lake District Library mobile electronics team, also known as the e-team, will demonstrate how to download free e-books from the library’s website www.sllib.org. The team will bring a variety of e-readers including a Nook, Kindle, iPad, and android tablet so Counterpart members who aren’t already familiar with the popular devices can see how they work. Sony e-readers that already have several e-titles loaded on them will also be available during the meeting.
